Top 10 Most Fuel-Efficient Cars for 2005

The 10 most fuel-efficient cars currently sold in the U.S. with the exception of the Plymouth Neon are all transplant cars, the Pontiac Vibe is made by the GM/Toyota joint venture. Fuel economy is calculated based on the following 55 percent of city mpg rating plus 45 percent of highway mpg rating. The rating for each vehicle below is expressed in mpg as a city/highway ratio. Whats kinda of amazing is the Honda Civic Hx which gets 44 mpg on the highway. This is almost as good ad the VW Golf which has a diesel engine.
